These three guys, who hail from New Jersey, play basically acoustic guitar-based modern pop. The album is recorded from a 1997 demo. They are largely the brainchild of Michael Fisher who plays guitars and harmonica sings and writes all the songs. They are intelligent songs about our walk with God in this world. Throughout, the album reflects humility and encourages a seeking after God for grace to live faithfully down here. The closest comparison I can liken them to is a weaker REM. The vocals need considerable strengthening. From track six they start to get more electric and uptempo in style. Overall, not a bad effort, but nothing in particular to set it apart from other releases in this genre. If you like this type of sound, check it out.
