This EP from a metal band who are "not of this world" has some very catchy and technical guitar riffs, which show a lot of talent but is let down by very repetitive choruses, with just a few lines repeated over and over again. And this happens in all three songs. With such a repetitive structure all the songs feel as though they drag on and make the EP feel a lot longer than the 13 minutes it actually is. The fact that they recorded this CD in just one day says a lot, and I think if they had spent more time coming up with more memorable songs, or finding ways of buffing out each song without the repetitive choruses then maybe this review would be more enthusiastic. I will be intrigued as to how any follow up release compares with this interesting but flawed debut.
