This has been out since 1992 but apparently news of Cross Rhythms took time to penetrate darkest Manchester. Well, is this an example of Christendom's answer to Manchester cutting edge music? 'Fraid not. Essentially pop-hook songs with heavy handed rhythm, driven by keyboards and a distorted guitar sounding far too heavy for the material and singer Alan Gibbons' light voice. Lyrically most of the songs have a words-sing-to-God praise and worship approach. Apparently the Warriors are back in the studio later this year. Hopefully, they'll have by then found the musical direction this tape lacks.
