Recorded in a bedroom on a budget of virtually nothing, 'Afterthought EP' is a six track recording by a five-piece pop/indie band featuring previous members of Side Project. From the wistful opener "Afterthought" through to the shimmering closer "Invisible Solace", this is a low-key gem with silky smooth harmonies, some intricate guitar figures and a hazy, semi-acoustic mood. The band are hoping to play a few gigs over the summer. If their live performances are as good as this hugely impressive debut, they should be sought out.
