One of a series of six 'Audio Training CDs', this 23 minute interview features "one of today's premier voices to worship leaders and songwriters", Tim  Hughes. Divided into 13 'question & answer' segments, Tim relates how he started out as a worship leader and shares the story of his renowned anthem, "Here I Am To Worship". He talks openly about the pressures and discouragements of leading worship (main one being lack of congregational participation!) and also shares some more technical insights into preparing both a set and your band as well as how to lead worship in the more intimate setting of a small group. True worship, he insists, is Spirit-led, and all leaders need to be prepared for their set agenda to be "hijacked by God", a truly exciting experience. Tim concludes by stressing that all worship leaders need to "keep it real" by keeping their focus constantly on Jesus. Overall,  there is little here that is uniquely revelatory, and you're unlikely to want to listen to it more than once or twice. Still, this is an inspiring discussion which will be of interest to many young worship leaders.
