Tolu Okeowo is a UK-based pianist and composer and though the sleeve photo might suggest that this is an instrumental project, in fact vocalists from Tolu's church axis are evident. The opening track, "Lord Help Me", starts with a gentle piano track and the smooth vocals of Michelle Marbie Davies followed by the slightly more edgy "I Will Wait" from Chibundu Onuzo. "How Much" (parts one and two) offers spoken poetry by Bola Fakorede about a post conversion experience over a slick backing track. Other tracks are provided by SLK, Revolution, Lekan Dixon and a number of others, including a beautiful piano piece, "Walk With Me" by Tolu himself. The tracks are beautifully arranged from full orchestra style to sparse piano and guitar underpinning the full vocals with a bit of soul and jazz thrown in as well. A very approachable set of songs all written by Tolu.
