Some might remember the Tom Inglis album put out a year or so back, a contemporary pop gospel album with more than a bit of Stock-Aitken-Waterman (gulp!) about it. So an eyebrow or two might be raised to find that he is indeed a highly respected worship leader, in fact he's probably South Africa's most popular praise and worship man who until 1987 was music director of the fast growing Rhema Bible Church (yep the 'prosperity gospel' people). Today Tom heads up Psalmody International and helped by a bunch of Brit musos including Kim Wilde's keyboard player Jeff Hammer and omnipresent guitarist Neil Castello makes an album which is nicely contemporary though still retaining a worship focus. Best tracks are the almost 'dance praise' "Making War In The Heavenlies" and the self-composed "I Worship You".

I had the magnetic tape for this and fortunately ripped it about 15 years ago. Still have 2 mp3s with the 2 sides of the tape. Beautiful passionate music!
