Continuing the series of recently remastered download-only reissues of prison ministry recordings by US singer/songwriter Tony Loeffler from the early '90s, this third instalment sees Loeffler and his Blues Angels back in front of a male inmate audience at the Passaic County Jail in New Jersey. Slightly less musically raggle taggle than its immediate predecessor, Blue Angel Wayne Scott Farley takes centre stage in versions of Stevie Wonder's "Have A Talk With God" and the old Police hit "Message In A Bottle" which showcase the man's dazzling 12 string guitar work and a great vocal to boot. It's not all easy listening though - an 18 minute reprise of Dylan's "Are You Ready" feels a bit like an endurance test - but the real star of the show is the message of salvation that Loeffler and orator Marc Tirondola so directly and compassionately put across and to which their audience respond to in droves as evidenced in the altar call at the end.
