On this 4-song demo are a 'white-indie-metal' band with brains as well as plectrums, which is always good to hear. Their tracks are well arranged, producing a tight together sound, which even a few signed bands (I won't name them) could learn from. The drums are beefy; the bass player is hot on timing and the lead guitarist seems to have no problem in creating a tapestry of fingerpicked notes. Chris Edwards' vocal skills show their strength on the tapes' only ballad - "Where The Power Lies", conveying both emotion and honesty. The lyrics offer no cliches, just honest, encouraging and often challenging Christian perspectives. Joe Public had better keep his eyes on this band - they're gonna be hot!
