There can be few people who aren't familiar with the charming musical tale of the drummer boy who presents his drumming gift to the baby Jesus. Since it was written in 1941 (by classical music composer Katherine Kennicott Davis) "Little Drummer Boy" has been recorded over 230 times in every style imaginable. Some tasty programming, the singer's poignantly effective vocal, a gutsy drum break and (gasp) a little bit of rapping, all come together to make this rendition an endearing holiday single. And her versions of "Emmanuel" and "Silent Night" aren't bad either.
