Alan Jackson tops America's Christian music charts with hymns album

MAINSTREAM country singer Alan Jackson has topped the American Christian music charts with his latest Arista album 'Precious Memories'. The album was originally recorded as a Christmas gift for his mother and not intended for commercial release but Jackson's simply arranged renditions of old hymns have found an audience with both church-goers and non-church-goers. CR
