London pro musicians gather together for The Dunamis Collective album

12 PROFESSIONAL musicians, singers, rappers, songwriters and record producers from Dunamis (House Of Praise), an Elim Pentecostal Church in west London, have joined forces to record an album. The project, 'Simple Love', by The Dunamis Collective features such talents as drummer Troy Miller, who has worked with such figures as jazz legend Roy Ayers and rap star Soweta Kinch; Gwyn Jay Allen, who has just finished touring Australia with the I Love Louis Louis Armstrong tribute; and Godstar, a pioneering figure in UK Christian hip-hop who, as Paul Sevier, was a member of N-Daze. The album will be launched at a special concert on 26th November at Bush Hall, Shepherds Bush, London. Said lead vocalist Diana Stanbridge, "We are very excited about the album launch and our forthcoming gig at Shepherds Bush. There is something for everyone on this album because of the sheer mix of musical styles. There's a real buzz among the band members and we know it is the start of something big." CR
