Spring release for Americana-tinged album by Rodney Cordner

VETERAN Irish music singer/songwriter Rodney Cordner will be releasing his 12th studio album 'To Be Continued' in the spring. Cordner's previous work has always been a blend of acoustic folk with a strong Celtic touch and very much in the story-telling ballad tradition. 'To Be Continued' will feature "something of an Americana flavour with hints of swing/jazz while still retaining a little of the Celtic edge." The album was recorded at In The Shade studio in County Armagh and is produced and engineered by John Giffin and Tom Watson. Guests on the project include up and coming Irish jazz drummer James Anderson and Jean-Pierre Rudolph, who normally plays with Rodney on fiddle, playing acoustic guitar. CR
