Songstress Corinne Bailey Rae is ambassador for CORD charity

LEEDS-based Corinne Bailey Rae, whose debut album sold four million copies and who was named as BBC Sound Of 2006, has joined Christian charity CORD to help promote their peace building work around the world. Said Corinne, "CORD is doing a vital job in so many areas of conflict around the globe. People may not be aware of what they do and that is why I am supporting them. I want to help highlight the tremendous need of people caught up in war and violence and the way CORD is there, helping them overcome enormous difficulties and offering hope for their future." CR
