Thrash metal band Detritus call it a day

BRISTOL thrash metal team, Detritus, whose second album 'If But For One' was released in March by Kingsway to rave reviews, have disbanded. Lead singer Mark Broomhead has joined Amaranth, a new experimental team formed by Si Bibby, the one time bassist with Seventh Angel. "It's a bit sad really, after the letter of support in the last issue of Cross Rhythms," said Mark, "But it's all amicable and I am looking forward to the challenge of a new band." CR
