Grits For Mainstream

AMERICA's popular gospel rappers Grirs have signed a mainstream record deal. The group, whose albums 'Mental Releases' (1995), 'Factors Of The Seven' (1997) and "Grammatical Revolution'(1999) for Gotee have received critical acclaim, have been signed by Chris Blackwell's Palm Records. Said Gotee Record president Joey Elwood, "It is a giant step forward in fulfilling our vision here at Gotee, which is to sign bands that impact our culture and the world outside of us. It's exactly what we set out to do seven years ago when we started Gotee. And we believe it couldn't have happened to a better band." CR
