Diva Candi Staton featured on Ace gospel album

ON THE 27th March reissue specialist label Ace Records will be releasing an album by veteran R&B, dance and gospel diva Candi Stator. The project 'Back To My Roots' was issued in the States on Beracah Records and was produced by Candi's son Marcus Williams. It is described as "a deeply personal, Americana-styled gospel album, intended as her final studio record." The album blends original songs with covers of artists like Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones.
