New imprint RKT Music launches Hyper Static Union.

THE RECORD label founded by Michael W Smith, Rocketown Records, have formed a new imprint, RKT Music for the launch of new modern rock four-piece Hyper Static Union. The Washington-based band is produced by Mac Powell, the singer with CCM stars Third Day. Powell spoke about the band's debut album 'Lifegiver', due to be released in the UK by Fierce! Distribution: "It's unlike anything in our market. For me - as a producer and A&R guy - to work with a band like this is very satisfying. When something new and fresh comes along, people are excited."
