Northern Echo's online competition is won by Julie Lord

INDEPENDENT artist Julie Lord recently won an internet-based song competition run by the Northern Echo. "Not My Day" came second in the initial online voting and the top five songs were then put to a panel of journalists and music fans. Julie's prize is a day's recording in a studio near Stockton, plus a full feature in the paper itself.
