One-time mainstream artists Lazet Michaels releases gospel album.

BROOKLYN-based singer Lazet Michaels has released an independent album 'Pressing Forward To The Higher Calling!' Lazet was once signed to Sire-Warner Bros and BMG Records. Asked what set her apart from other gospel artists the singer said, "I would guess that it's my versatility. I'm not a traditional gospel artist. When I write and sing, it's a journey of exploring different styles of music that contain a singular message that challenges the listener."
