Washington's punk rockers MxPx start own label

VETERAN pop punk band MxPx are set to release a new EP on their own label, Rock City Recording Company. 'Left Coast Punk' is a six-song digital download project with the band also releasing a 10-track physical version as a limited edition featuring three instrumentals and a previously unreleased demo track, "On A String". Talking about starting a record company, the band's Mike Herrera said, "It was about time we took this leap into the darkness, after all, we're musicians, there's no retirement in punk rock." CR
