Hip-hop artist Flame wants to engage with culture on new album

POPULAR rapper Flame has released his eighth studio album, 'Forward'. The project features appearances by Dove-nominated Gospel artist Melinda Watts on "Let It Shine" and Mike REAL on "Had Me Flexin'". Said Flame, "These songs focus on today's times, both around the world and in America, and how we need to move forward by engaging culture with the Gospel. I had so much on my heart I wanted to communicate through this project. I wanted songs that would provide listeners with hope and encouragement to move forward in the midst of challenges - to remind them that, in Christ, we are all given the power to press on." Flame's previous album, 2013's 'Royal Flush', made number 11 on Billboard's Rap Albums chart. CR
