Michael Lovelock releases album debut 'No Explanation'.

KETTERING-based singer Michael Lovelock, who enjoyed a major turntable hit on Cross Rhythms radio in 2000 with the song "Rising Up", has returned with his first full length album. The project, 'No Explanation', comprises of "12 original tracks both worship and contemporary, that explore both the character of God and the faith of man with simplicity, honesty, and the occasional touch of humour." The album is released independently.

Michael's album has been long awaited and with much anticipation. When it was released and I was able to hear the finished product I wasn't dissapointed.
The twelve original songs were a breath of fresh air, a brilliant mix of intamate and up beat, worship and more contemorary feeling songs. I especially liked the track "hazy shade of nothing" as well as "tell the world". This work shows what a versitile artist Michael is. Also the depth of relationship he has with this awsome God which we serve.
I hope Michael continues to produce music of this quality and excellence in the future.

This album is a sound for sore ears. It's fresh and original; a musical delight along with lyrics that reveal the heart of the writer. A collection of honest songs ranging from blues to intimate heart worship. A treat not to be missed.

What a treat, a really great collection of songs. I love the humour in "I'm no hero", the guitar break in "A hazy shade of nothing" is amazing and "All for me" and "Beautiful place" are really intimate songs of adoration. 12 very different songs, but when you soak yourself in this album, you recognise that the continuum through the whole is beautifully crafted song writing and an honesty about the complexity of living out a relationship with our awesome God.

This album grows on you... I found myself humming tunes later that day. Honest lyrics - not just religious platitudes. As a musician I was impressed by the musicality
