Alan Jackson continues in the number one spot in US with 'Precious Memories'

THE ALBUM of old hymns by country music giant Alan Jackson, 'Precious Memories', is still encamped at number one in the US Christian music charts. A feature on Jackson in the trade magazine Billboard reveals that 'Precious Memories' has so far sold 946,000 copies. Billboard also reports that Jackson has sold more than 33 million albums since SoundScan began tracking country album sales in 1991. CR
