All Star United's Ian Eskelin nominated for Dove Award

IN AN IRONIC twist singer, songwriter, producer Ian Eskelin, who fronts the band All Star United, has been nominated for Song Of The Year at the Gospel Music Association's 38th Annual Dove Awards. The track "Me And Jesus", co-written by Eskelin and recorded by pop punk band Stellar Kart, is nominated for Song Of The Year and Rock/Contemporary Song. This spring All Star United's 'Love & Radiation' album is being released in the USA having received a UK release in 2006. The album contains the track "Song Of The Year" which seems to be a lampoon of the Dove Awards. CR
