Original Prayer

Dear God, Please help the one I love. Forgive his hate for you and I pray that you can reach out to him in a very tangible way. Please hurry up God as I fear the impact this is having on the children. Help him to overcome his dependence on alcohol - help him to see that he needs help, but most of all that he needs you Lord. Help me to stand firm through this difficult time. In your mercy

Karen, God has heard your petition and seen your tears and grief. He will not be slow to act. Keep faithful and showing love. God will surely come through for you. Karen, I have prayed the above is I believe God's message for you. As for me, when I have even been in a mess of my own making and not someone elses. God is faithful. God gave me a wife beyond all I could have asked for but he asked me to trust in Him first. God Loves you very much and would tell you to take comfort from His Word. Proverbs 3 V 5-6Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Philippians 4 v 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Jeremaiah 29 verse 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
