The First Baptist Church in Ingersoll, Canada has produced this double-CD set of hymns entirely arranged for solo pipe organ. The are many favourites from the hymnal here such as "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", "Amazing Grace" and "Crown Him With Many Crowns", plus two new hymns written by Glen Teeple and Jeff Teed, of Parley Songs. The organ is played by Daniel Durksen, who does a very good job, technically speaking. However, the album delivers little more than it suggests: the arrangements are very conventional and there are no surprises throughout the two CDs. Therefore, this is only worth purchasing if you want hymns played simply on organ. Otherwise, you need to look elsewhere for your spiritual musical nourishment.
