This blue collar band from Boston offer punk rock with a minimum of thrills and the maximum of energy. Lead singer Mike May snarls at you in the best punk tradition, but also handles some melody to go with its 100mph drumming and strumming. Lyrics like "Open the Bible and read what's inside" ("Lessons") come across more command than exhortation and though the overall mix is a bit muddy, you can't mistake the passion and commitment. So if you're looking for a Christian hybrid of Sham 69 and the Ramones with some pleasing shouty bits (the "hey hey hey" in "Life") you might want to locate this five-song EP.
