I recently had the opportunity to listen to this young man who has been creating big waves in British country music in concert as support act to Crystal Gayle on her recent tour.  I was impressed: a good voice, well turned out, very enthusiastic about his music and what he likes, I thought he was a breath of fresh air.  Heavily influenced by Garth Brooks and Vince Gill with an appeal for all those into new country of the '90s.  Two tracks here have distinctly Christian overtones, "Do Miracles Really Happen" and "Born On Christmas Day".  He writes all his own material, something very unusual for such a young newcomer to country music, so you don't get just cover versions of well known country tunes.  An interesting release, and if you have a chance to go and see him perform, take the opportunity as you might be surprised how much you might enjoy him, even if country is not normally your style.

I totally agree with the review. Adam Couldwell was a breath of fresh air. I had not heard of him before I saw him as support to Reba McEntire. I purchased the Paint a bigger picture cd and play it still. I just don't understand why we don't hear more of this gifted young man. I certainly would welcome a new cd.
