While all around, and particularly in the USA, much religious art is trivial and shallow, Adrian Snell stands as a beacon of artistic and spiritual integrity. Those of you who bought his beautiful, terrible 'Song Of An Exile' or his profoundly prophetic 'Alpha And Omega' or his profoundly moving 'Father' albums will want this book which tells how these works were born. The writing style is somewhat truncated but that makes it a book easy to dip in and out of. Those extracts from Bergen-Belsen - the poems of Jewish children who died in the concentration camp -still hit home with devastating effect.
