Where do I start? Hearing "He's Got The Whole World" reminded me of choruses from my younger days, but mix this in with solos, choral pieces, instrumentals and readings and you create a very diverse album. One might think too much would be happening but this is not the case. An excellent balance of styles has been found making this very easy to listen to. The album like others in the series retains its classical and even operatic leanings. My one criticism is that the cover says, "All the excitement of a 'last night of the proms' atmosphere is evident here," but it just isn't the case. The only real evidence of a live performance is the clapping at the end of songs. Still, the work of Noel Tredinnick and the All Souls Orchestra is excellent and really brings into worship everything from classics to hymns to Israeli choruses.
