There is a good mix of new and well known songs on this value for money 16-track CD from the Nashville-based country crooner. The opening track "No Place Like Home" sets the tone of a singer who is really at home with gospel material including such classics as "How Long Has It Been", "It Is No Secret" and Kris Kristofferson's "Why Me". The backing is very tasteful with plenty of nice steel guitar and fiddle and the whole album bears constant playing. If I had to pick a couple of favourites it would actually be a couple of tracks strongly associated with Elvis Presley: "His Hand In Mine" and "We Call On Him". Definitely the best album I have heard by My Karl.
