What about this then! A brand new 11-song CD from one of Christendom's most underrated singer/songwriters, full of melodic good things; some deft playing with excursions into jazz and blues, excellent songwriting full of memorable hooks, fine back ups (including the so-talented Kerry Minnear) and all offered FREE with £3.00 covering post and packing! (This offer is for 2 months only!). Clearly Andy just wants to get his music out there, so if you're looking for some fine new worship-orientated songs, get your money off to Andy. The absolute killer is "For You". After an intro from Andy which reminds me a little of an acoustic Martin Smith, it unexpectedly switches to a plaintive, eerily beautiful vocal from Sally Minnear over hubby's synth pad. A quite exquisite worship track only let down by its brevity. Not everything has this touch of creative genius. The cocktail jazz of "This Is Love" is an acquired taste while soon you look for a more crunching rhythm section on the bluesy "He Is The Answer". But, considering the price, these are minor quibbles. If you're looking for quality jazz-tinged pop music and/or fresh worship here is a CD you must purchase.
