Following on from the success of their previous two kids ministry albums, Manchester megachurch !Audacious have released another sturdy offering of praise songs for children. Refreshingly, this is an all-encompassing release that will appeal to youngsters and parents alike and the high quality adult-sung content found within thankfully refuses to patronise musically, lyrically or artistically just because its target audience is of Sunday school age. There is an overriding dance feel to proceedings and this keeps things nice and upbeat with the likes of the title track and "Royalty" telling of God's glory in energetic fashion. Elsewhere, "He's Good" borrows heavily from the Bruno Mars smash "Uptown Funk" but without the cringe factor you sometimes get when children's ministry folks decide to adapt mainstream songs whilst the more considered "Complete" is genuinely a great song of worship. Full-on techno versions of "Joshua Fit The Battle Of Jericho" and "Give Me Oil In My Lamp" in the "Sunday School Mash Up III" medley may divide opinion but hats off to the folks at !Audacious for attempting to keep things fresh as they seek to help young believers worship God.
