10 new tracks plus backing tracks for seven of the songs. The energy level is high and getting the children's choir involved is a nice touch. Appropriately, nearly every track is dance based and they have gone for a high-tech electronic club sound mixed onto the rock base, with plenty of rapping and simple tunes. Some of the songs are instantly memorable, like Kendall/Atkins' "Crazy Praise", sung here by the effervescent Chip Kendall. It's great for joining in with lines like "Crazy Praise POW, Crazy Praise WOAH". I liked "Ain't No Party" with its unusual theme of teaching some of the names of God integrated into the use of the children's choir. Sometimes the souped up mix got on my nerves: "Open Heaven" is a reasonable song with the felicitous premise that Heaven is open to us, but the added sounds seemed to have no relevance. Paul Garner sings "Rise", a good worship song that actually could be for any age and the slightly South American feel to the riff is attractive. !Audacious have a tremendous ministry to children and young people and this CD comes direct from their experience at the cutting edge.
