Growing up in the Church Of Christ The King in Brighton, Becky was encouraged by worship leaders such as Paul Oakley and Kate Simmons to pursue her songwriting. Now based in Bath, she has independently released this, her first full length debut album. With a worshipful style and a beautifully soft voice, Becky's original songs are arranged sympathetically with sensitive use of piano and soft guitar. The whole album has a very gentle feel, emphasised by Becky's gorgeous vocal tone. This especially soft feel means that a lot of the album sounds quite similar, but each song seems so heartfelt that it is hard not to get pulled in. Particularly worthwhile songs on the album are "Eternity", a soft ballad with its powerful lyrics "I fix my eyes on eternity", and "I Need You", a song which tells of unintentionally shutting God out, and then builds to an effective anthemic climax.
