Ben and Vera Karlsson are well established as globetrotting Messianic musical evangelists. On this album they present the weightier side of their repertoire and treat the listener to a sumptuous feast of sacred vocal duets written by the great composers. These include several selections from Handel's 'Messiah' as well as Bizet's 'Agnus Dei' and an extract from Haydn's 'Creation'. More recent works include a string rendition of Stephen Adams' 'The Holy City'. Supported by the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of Wernigerode the Karlssons perfectly compliment each other with their powerful tenor and soprano voices. Definitely not an album for the faint hearted but great for anyone with a taste for classical praise.
