The Tennessee singer known as the Gospel Cowboy weighs in with a 2000 album, showing off his baritone voice with peddle steel and fiddle in the accompaniments. Judged in absolute terms, this CD is only average; if, on the other hand, you like country music, then they might be worth investigating, because the musicianship and production are perfectly acceptable, even if the songs themselves don't set the pulses racing.
