Senior pastor at Toledo's Final Harvest Church in Ohio, the good bishop has released his second album which contains 10 songs that explore the part-time hip-hop artist's relationship with God. Refreshingly minimal in terms of style, Hancock prefers to stick to a steady stripped-back electronic groove without too many bells and whistles. This allows his God-centred lyrics - delivered in typical forthright fashion and sometimes based around a single repeated phrase - to take prominence with the likes of the "Your Dominion" and "Praise The King" being prime examples of this approach. The piano-led title track and the soft soul of "Find Myself In You" offer up some variety as does the inclusion of a rapper in "Waited All My Life" and, whilst the minimalist approach works for the most part, tracks like the underdeveloped "Rain On Me" beg for a gear change halfway through. Unfortunately, the closing track "My Redeemer" lets the side down and suffers from both rapper and singer competing for space not to mention some tonality issues for Hancock vocally and an albeit unintentionally bellicose-sounding preach at the end that jars with this otherwise considered release.
