Blanca was with the popular Group 1 Crew for 10 years, leaving to have a child. She returned in 2015 embarking on a solo career. This is her second full album and the honest, heartfelt songs continue, addressing the singer's experience of pain and loss and that we are far from abandoned, illustrated in the beautiful title track over a simple musical backing. "Real Love" expresses a desire of pure love and not artificial religion. "Best Part Of Me" recognises in the lyrics "The best part of me is you." Tye Tribbett features on "Run To The River" where the cry of "Let your love pour down, down, down" is fervently sung. The combination of honesty, longing and encouragement is a powerful combination, over some exhilarating rhythms make 'Shattered' an impossible album to resist. Put simply, every song delivers!
