Looking for a band with the funky thrust and unbridled energy of the Chilli Peppers? Look no further. This West Midlands trio have all the flash and fire to take them to mainstream success if they can locate the man with the big cigar! Johnny Crawford (vocals, guitar, piano and composer) shows here that he used his time well with veteran ministry team DKF. This EP is raw and unpolished, but shows exceptional rhythmic dynamics on "Bottlerockit" and "I Don't Mind" while the haunting acoustic ballad "Not 19", the most overt lyric of the four, has its moments too. With an eye-catching sleeve, this debut is recommended for all those locking for authentic groove-rock.
