Bearing the Chris Rolinson stamp throughout, here are 33 songs with music and words editions for easy church use. This is a varied collection, maybe useful for churches looking for liturgical variety. Most are easily singable for congregations, although a few would require a more specialised choir or music group. A mixture of tempo, textures and harmonies are on display and melodically the songs are quite straightforward so user-friendliness is therefore achieved. The downside of this, however, is the inevitable predictability of some songs (arc repetitive key changes really necessary?), some subtle syncopations which would perhaps be lost in congregational singing, and a number of editorial mistakes. Guitarists only get the capo key, not the original, which is slightly puzzling, if not patronising. Highpoints - "Lead Kindly Light", "Lord By Your Cross" and "You Are Worthy". The lows - the (not so) "Great Amen" and "Our Father (Your Kingdom Come)".
