Brokenfor are a young three piece band from Norwich who recently played Greenbelt's Fresh Talent. Not only did they write and play their own material, they also recorded and produced this three-track single and did their own graphic design. Opening with a great electric guitar and bass riff, "We're Going Up" is definitely the upbeat track. With a bit of a '70s feel, the slightly whiny vocals remind a bit of Bob Dylan and other folks rockers of that ilk. "When Rivers Flow" and "How Many Fall" have a much more folk rock feel that reinforce the comparison with Dylan. The songs are well written but are let down by the raw production. Having said that, Brokenfor are a band to watch out for in the future.

Thanks for the review Tim. We've grown so much since that recording in early 2008 and we're now recording our Christmas cover songs which are sounding brilliant in our rather small home studio here in Norwich. We're always looking to improve so thanks for the comments on our music. Watch out for our new sound and something different in future months!

Thanks
Brokenfor Band Guys
