Those as old as I may remember Bryn's heyday. For instance by 1987 he'd sold 500,000 albums, been awarded the Music Retailers Gospel's Music Award For Excellence for his album with the Richard Williams Singers and had his biography 'My Tribute' published by Word. Now Bryn markets himself and still turns out classy middle of the road renditions of the old hymns. Here you've got the old revival hymn "I'll Fly Away", the modern standard "From A Distance" and a moving number I've never heard before "Mending Broken People". Bryn has a richly powerful voice in the Harry Secombe mould, the orchestra was recorded in Bulgaria (really!) and Bryn clearly still has much to offer those who like their listening easy.
