The sleeve note reads, "Carol McClure is undoubtedly the world's foremost Christian classical solo harpest." Who am I to argue? Here Carol plays 11 well known hymns ("All Hail The Power Of Jesus Name", "All Things Bright And Beautiful") with a few choruses (Kendrick's "Lord Have Mercy On Us" and Ishmael's "Father God I Wonder"). When Cross Rhythms reviewed Carol's last album 'Everlasting Arms' we gave it a six rating. I knocked a square off this time because it wasn't called Stress Busters' or 'Sweet Slumber' or something like that. For when it was playing in the background while talking to a couple of friends I had great difficulty staying awake. Now my torpor might have had something to do with a mega reviewing session. But I suspect the dirge-slow harp renditions of "All Hail King Jesus" didn't help.
