Casting Crowns have been around since1999 and have made many hugely popular albums; their record sales have exceeded 10 million. And the fruits of all that experience are here in these six tracks, each of which is a real golden Christmas nugget! The mood throughout is gentle and acoustic but that doesn't prevent it being meaningful and hard-hitting. Four tracks are their own compositions and make significant additions to the Christmas repertoire. My favourite is "Somewhere In Your Silent Night"; a thoughtful word for those for whom Christmas is hard. The strong chorus tune and inspired middle eight delivered by Mark Hall's sensitive voice make this truly memorable. Each track delivers a powerful Christian message, even the cutesy "It's Finally Christmas". Megan Garrett gives a sensitive acoustic rendition of the well-known "O Holy Night" and the album ends on a challenge with "Make Room" when it leads from no room at the inn to "Is There Room In Your Heart?"
