The live version comprises both an audio CD and a DVD consisting of eight tracks from the very successful 'Until The Whole World Hears' album. As would be expected the production is huge, the sound crisp, clear and full and even provided in 5.1 surround sound on the DVD. While the songs are not exactly cutting-edge they are very well arranged with excellent use of light and shade and are sung with passion by Mark Hill and Megan Garrett and the arena sized audience are obviously lost in worship. The audio quality is such that it works wonderfully without the visuals, which is good as Casting Crowns are really trying to put the music first so they are not exactly stunning to watch. The producer has done a great job and has avoided the rapid cut solution to making a more dynamic visual experience and it is sympathetic to the music. In addition to the concert footage is a five episode teaching series, seven mini documentary pieces and the video that went with the single release of the title track. It stands very well on its own and the extras make it worth getting even if you have the original album.
