Chris Clemo's debut CD release is a single song "Set Me Free" with an unusual origin and sound. It's his GCSE Music composition project and therefore it's not surprising that Chris plays guitars and drums on the project whilst Jess Humphries (whom we last heard on the Blaze Vision project) supplies some scorching guitar work and carries out vocal duties. Bass work is supplied by another familiar Clemo, Dave! With lyrics that seem inspired by the Bible, I'd be interested to hear what his GCSE examiner made of this. For me musically this is energetic and powerful with plenty of swirling guitars. There are a few surprises production wise which make it an intriguing debut.
