Dallas Holm is another of those singers who are reaching veteran status, and for increasingly bland material as they drift gently towards retirement. However I'm glad to report that, despite his last few albums failing to get anyone too excited, he can still deliver if he has a mind to. This album is totally self-penned, and there are three old songs to go with the seven new ones. The styles vary from up tempo pop to bluesy West Coast rock to acoustic easy listening with strings and things, and there's even a spoof on the old "Trail Of The Lonesome Pine" style of country music with 'Heaven', complete with phonograph acoustics and scratchy old 78 effects. I'm glad that Dallas (he's from Texas in case you hadn't guessed) isn't ready to go for the pension just yet, because he's done a lot for CCM over the years. Still, it's a pity that he and Dana Key and Jerry Williams never followed up the Mesa thing in '93.

I would love to have the sheet music for Before Your Throne. I want to sing it for a solo at my church. I have looked everywhereHEAD I can think of and can't seem to find it.

The lyrics are out there and I have been able to pull together the cords, but I too am interested in getting the piano music. I contacted Dallas' site email and asked him if the sheet music exists and it does not. I'm hoping someday to be able to aquire the music.
