"I've set my affections/Completely on you/There's no more rejection/No more abuse/You melt my defences Lord/And call me you friend/And I'm back in your arms again." Such lyrics as these from Danny Chambers will communicate the nearness and tenderness of God to many of you in a way no other worship album has done before. With some intriguing inlay notes to accompany the lyrics, we start with the praise phase - a refreshing re-combination of hard rock, hm and R&B sound, meaty and exciting. I play the opener, "Out Of the Wilderness" again and again. Gentle piano and soft sax contribute to the backdrop of some most intimate ministry and worship, delivered with undeniable integrity. Who can hear enough refrains like "I'll never be alone" in this individualistic society? The recording concludes with a rousing encouragement for the life of Christ to flow through us to the ends of the earth.
